Under the bonnet
How the games work
How Ruricorp games use fictional play coins, random outcomes and free resets. No real money, no wagering, no prizes.
All four games on Ruricorp were designed and written by us. They are small browser games in plain JavaScript, and they all follow the same five rules.
1. Coins are fictional
Every visitor starts with 1,000 play coins. They are a counter, not a currency: they cannot be bought, sold, won, transferred, cashed out or exchanged for anything. The balance is stored only in your own browser and never sent to us.
2. Outcomes are random
Reel stops, cards, scratch panels and wheel segments are chosen with your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). We do not adjust outcomes based on your balance, your history or how long you have played.
3. Resets are free and unlimited
When your coins run low, press "Reset to 1,000 coins" under any game. It costs nothing, it is instant and you can do it as often as you like. There is no shop, no bonus offer and no in-app purchase of any kind.
4. Every rule is on the page
Each game shows its full paytable or multiplier list next to the controls. If a rule is not printed, it does not exist.
5. Results mean nothing outside the game
Free games are not practice for real-money gambling, and results here do not predict results anywhere else. Real gambling products work differently and carry real financial risk.
Ruricorp offers free social casino games for entertainment only. There is no real-money play, no wagering, no in-app purchases and no prizes of monetary value.
